Brief Description on Grievance:

Our company has been functioning continuously and successfully since 1994. However, during recent discussions with Aloor Panchayath authorities regarding the payment of building tax, we were informed that, as per the Assessment Register, our building 23/666 is recorded as “fully demolished.” Based on this entry, the Panchayath authorities have stated that building tax cannot be accepted and consequently the Panchayath License for the year 2026–2027 will not be issued.

In this regard, we respectfully submit the following:

1)Our company has never submitted any application or document to the Panchayath for demolition of the building.
2)The building is fully existing and operational.
3)If the building had been recorded as demolished in 2019, it is unclear how the Panchayath continued issuing trade licenses to us up to March 2026.
4)We have been regularly operating the establishment without interruption.

We therefore humbly request your immediate intervention to:

1)Rectify the incorrect demolition entry in the Assessment Register.
2)Permit us to remit the applicable building tax.
3)Direct the Panchayath to issue the Trade License for the year 2026–2027 at the earliest.
