Brief Description on Grievance:
Kumbalad Milk Products is a dairy farm and dairy products manufacturer. We do agriculture and agriculture value addition form single origin cow milk sourced from our own dairy farm. We served our community with 432000 liters of milk in last 3 years. we generate 14 full time employments and 6 part time employments. We stepped in to dairy products manufacturing in 2023 with guidance from industries department and financial aid through PMFME scheme. We represent Wayanad district in "One district one product program". As an initial step, We applied for building permit to start construction of our dairy processing unit and building permit was granted from Muttil grama panchayath on 22/11/2023 . PMFME loan (31.5 Lakh from Union Bank) was sanctioned based on this permit. Completed construction and submitted completion plan to panchayath for numbering. Engineer from Muttil grama panchayath inspected our facility and suggested few rectifications. We did all rectifications as suggested and submitted rectified plan to panchayath secretary. Later we received another notice from Panchayat denying completion certificate for our building as the pattayam of our land is categorized as DK. We are in a very tough situation and departments like legal metrology, health are penalizing us due to this. Also, we need excise department permission to bring molasses from Tamilnadu to be used as an ingredient in cattle feed. We have invested all our savings along with bank loans, mortgage loans and borrowing from friends and family for this project. Our total investment for this project is 2.36cr. As we do only agriculture and agricultural value addition, we kindly request you to look in to this matter on urgent basis and to the needful to allocate building number and necessary permissions.
