Brief Description on Grievance:
The significant delay and denial of granting the building number for my commercial building by the Chembilodu Grama Panchayat, despite my repeated attempts to comply with all requirements and procedures. This delay has caused me undue inconvenience and financial loses. Below is a detailed timeline of the matter for your review: Initial Application: On 30th October 2024, I submitted my first application for a building number to the Panchayat under File No.: 401061/BABC06/General/2024/12885. First Report: Following site visits, I received a report dated 19th December 2024, which cited four comments/violations under the Kerala Panchayat Building Rules (KPBR) 2019. Compliance and Resubmission: After addressing all the comments/violations, I resubmitted the application on 7th January 2025. Second Report: Post another round of site visits, I received a second report dated 24th February 2025, stating that Rule No. 33 of KPBR 2019 was not fully complied with. Final Compliance Submission: After ensuring full compliance with Rule No. 33, I submitted a letter along with photographic evidence to the Panchayat Secretary on 3rd March 2025. Despite my full compliance and submission of all required documents, the Panchayat has not made any progress on my application or provided any response since 3rd March 2025. The lack of action and accountability is evident from the file transaction history. I have made several personal visits to the Panchayat office to follow up on this matter, yet no satisfactory explanation or resolution has been provided. The inordinate delay and irresponsible handling of my application strongly suggest intentional negligence in denying or delaying the issuance of the building number.
