Brief Description on Grievance:

Kindly refer to the enclosed copy of revenue recovery notice against our appeal for tax revision. We have submitted our request and appeal in 2023 as well as in 2024.
However, we have received a revenue recovery notice without considering our appeal.
Our building MK Tower area is as follows as per the completion plan. The building tax for the first floor was calculated based on a wrong floor area and we have requested twice to Zonal office to correct the data. Our request was rejected and we are being forced to pay the tax based on wrong details.
Basement area : 476.16 m2
Ground floor area: 157.95+300.57m2 = 458.52m2 (tax paid)
First Floor: 296.85 is the floor area which should be taxable but we are being taxed for 458.52+ portion of basement.
Third floor
: 458.52 (Tax paid)
Forth Floor
: 458.52 (tax paid)
The completion plan submitted was clearly showing floor area as 296.85. Even if a proportion of the basement comes with it, the total area cannot go more than 350 m2.
Kindly do the needful to correct the taxable area for the building area No 7/175 based on the floor area which is 296.85. We will pay all dues upon receipt of your favorable reply.
