Brief Description on Grievance: I have submitted an application for permit for extension work of my existing building located in Ward No 10 of Kandalloor Grama Panchayat. Though the application was actually submitted in August 2024, a considerable delay has been occurred in my case due to various observations made by the authority including adding of area of roof constructed over the existing building (weather shade) , regularization of area of existing building etc. It is not out of place to say that if a checklist had been provided to resubmit the application by ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements, the delay caused by returning the file with each and every reason could have been avoided. However, after completing all regulatory requirements as has been advised by the authority, I have re-submitted the application on 04/02/2025 (copy of receipt attached for kind reference) but even after a month of re-submitting the application and the stipulated time set by the government, no response has been received yet. Sorry to mention here that this type of delay is happening at a time when the government claims such applications are processed very quickly and transparently, and such lapses on the part of officials are totally against the government policies. Hope, the Adalat is gracious enough to understand the above facts and look into the matter for a favourable action at the earliest please.
