Brief Description on Grievance:

My property is of 0.875 Cents. In that property I constructed a building for the purpose of my office which has been numbered as T.C.27/1035/5 and 6. The Corporation assessed the building which was challenged by me in the Hon.High Court in W.P(C).26786/2004. The Hon. High Court directed the LSG Tribunal which has come into existence by that time to consider the Revision petition to be filed by me. (Copy attached). Accordingly I filed Revision Petition bearing number 42 of 2007. The Tribunal set aside the order of the Corporation on the basis that it is excessive and directed the Corporation to make fresh assessment. The judgment was pronounced on 16.01.2008. The Corporation issued on 28.04.2008 the same assessment order which was previously quashed by the Tribunal. It was challenged before the Hon.High Court in W.P (C) 16772/2008. The Hon. High Court in judgment dated 05.10.2016 set aside this order also and ordered to make fresh consideration. After that I approached the Corporation for fresh assessment. Now The Corporation issued assessment order demanding more amount than previous assessment along with penal interest. This may be revised and penal interest may be charged only from the date of new assessment.
