Brief Description on Grievance: I am Ravindran NR, the owner of the property located at Ambaloor. We have recently applied for a permit to construct a building on our property file no 2699/A1/2023/KCZMA, and our application falls under the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) category as per government records. We understand that the government has specific regulations in place to protect coastal areas, and we fully support the need for such regulations to ensure the preservation of our coastal environment. However, we would like to bring to your attention that our proposed construction site adheres to the regulations stipulated for CRZ areas. According to the regulations, construction should take place at a minimum distance of 100 meters from the shore. Our property has been carefully surveyed and measured, and we can confirm that our proposed construction location is well beyond the required 100-meter setback from the shoreline. To further support our case, we have also checked the location of our property on Google Maps, which clearly shows that our property is situated in Murinapuzha River which is away from Vembanad River. Considering this information, we kindly request that our application be exempted from the requirement to submit additional documents such as “No objection certificate from Kerala pollution control board, KSEB, Kerala state groundwater departments”. We believe that our case is a clear example of adherence to the government's regulations, and we aim to ensure full compliance with all relevant rules and procedures. We kindly request that you review our case and, if possible, expedite the processing of our permit application.
